Music plays an important role in our lives. It is a common knowledge that listening to favorite music can cheer you up and charge you with energy. There are music genres catering for any taste. These singers commonly become stars known all over the world and idols for millions of people. One of such famous artists is a 23-year-old American singer Mario. There is a widespread proverb that a talented man has talent to everything. It's totally true when it comes to Mario, whose full name is Mario Dewar Barret, pop and R&B singer, songwriter, actor, dancer and model. He originates from Baltimore and was born on the August 27, 1986. His parents were divorced and he was brought up by his grandmother. He was four years old when he decided that he would be a singer one day. He never gave up on this dream and managed to fulfill it. His professional career as an artist began in July 2002 when his debut album Mario was released. It was an instant success. The young man immediately attracted the interest of public. The second album Turning Point was released in two years. The album and its main single "Let Me Love You" made a sensation. The song was number one in all hit parades of the country for a few months. Apart from being a popular singer, Mario is a gifted actor and dancer. During his artistic career he acted in several movies. One of these movies, "Step Up", issued on the 11th of August, 2006, represent a dance-themed film. In this film Mario seized an opportunity to show his brilliant dancing abilities. Mario is only 23 years old, but he's amidst the most popular stars in the US. His new album is about to be issues and his fans are looking forward to it. |
